Self Love Spread

February is one of my favorite months. I'm a proud Aquarius, and it's a great time of year to celebrate love, relationships (not only romantic ones), strength, and creativity!

I'm wrapping up January and kicking off February with a self-love spread! You can print this little self-love spread card to paste into your journal, if you like!

I've also completed this spread as a general message to you, dear readers! Still, you should do your own to get more specifics!

  1. How do most of us perceive ourselves? - 6 of Swords
We may see ourselves as travelers, every-day adventurers, sometimes lonely, searching for our defining life moments.
  2. What is one great strength we have? - 8 of Wands
We have the power to keep forging ahead, to see each day through, to do our best with what we have. In that drive to get by, there is passion for life, for loved ones. We don't always feel it 100%, but it is there, and we can channel it when we need to.
  3. What is one perceived weakness? - Page of Wands
We may feel hesitant to try something new. As humans, we find comfort and safety in consistency and predictability. So, it's natural to feel scared when taking risks. But, taking a chance on new opportunities, even small ones, can help us create a new reality -- one in which trying new things becomes the new norm!
  4. How can we practice self-acceptance? - 3 of Wands
Take a step back, and look at the big picture. Instead of getting caught up in the perceived day-to-day successes and setbacks, make sure to take a mindful moment to congratulate yourself on how far you've come.
  5. Why are we worthy of love? - 2 of Cups
Because, we were designed to give and receive love. As a human, you were literally created in order to receive love. And who better to love you (first), in the way you deserve to be loved, than you yourself? You are the one who knows you best.
  6. What is one (or 2) things we can do to show ourselves love? - 2 of Swords
Meditate before bed or first thing in the morning, and imagine surrounding yourself in love and complete acceptance. This card also represents setting boundaries and protecting yourself from harmful energy. Surround yourself with those who lift you, and spend less time with those who bring you down. You are worth it!
